Jeff,
I was currently looking for another companion for our second dog when I noticed your ad, with a website address, in the Dallas Morning News on Tuesday, March 5th. As soon as I opened up your website, it was love at first sight. I ended up buying Ham Bone (that day), a 2# 7oz, male, Shih Tzu. This is our first Shih Tzu after three poodles.
Thanks for starting to paper train "all" your puppies. It's proven to be invaluable since Ham Bone is now in a different environment - at least the newspapers still "smells the same". My vet examined Ham Bone, and pronounced him a healthy and happy puppy. A definite keeper!!
Please keep up the good work on your website. You have an excellent source of advertising. It sure saves the buyer a lot of time and gas money running around. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I have sent your website address to all my animal lover friends with high recommendations.

Jeff;
They are doing great. Yesterday Lisa and I had to buy Angel and Happy a receiving blanket, Angel kept trying to pull her blanket out of the pet carrier. She drags her blankie to the dining room chair where I've had to leave my husbands shirt hug on the chair and lays downs under the shirt on her blankie. She loves this shirt, I think it is the scent. I have to lay this shirt over her carrier at night, she goes right to sleep and doesn't wake up until someone goes in the dining room the next morning. She's doing real good on her potty training also. She is spoiled rotten already. Happy, who is now called Rex (today????) is doing real good also. He came over yesterday and played with his sister. They had a real good time. He's doing good on the potty training, also. They both went to a soccer game Saturday. of course they had to stay wrapped up in blankets cause it was cold.
Lauren, my grand-daughter was so surprised. We hide the pups in the garage. Lauren wanted to look at your web page to see if Happy was still there. Of course, you had taken Happy and Angel off, she was almost in tears. We told
her she could have Pork Chop, he was still there, NO she wanted Happy. I got the pups out of the garage and put them in the kitchen, when she walked in the kitchen she almost started to cry again when she seen Happy and Angel.She could not believe she got Happy after all. I wish I would of had my movie camera.

Jeff:
I bought a little female shih tzu from you yesterday...i am LOVING her!! Three questions for you...bear with me, I am a "new parent"...
1. You said she was used to paper and going out the doggie door to go potty. So far she has done ok, has gone outside a couple times, and gone inside once too. What do you recommend to get her from paper-trained to completely housebroken? Any thoughts or expertise you can share is appreciated.
2. On a similar subject...I am planning on using crate training only when i am gone from home. I am going to put her in the bed with me because she is too precious to resist, and because she's so small. Is it acceptable to crate train only when I am gone, and leave her out otherwise?
3. Also, she is not eating very much...maybe that is because she is just adjusting to her new surroundings?
Thanks much!
liann

Jeff,
I am writing to let you know what a wonderful blessing little Ben has been! My sister's family, my mom and I pitched in and gave him to my son for his 8th birthday after our beloved family dog of ten years, Colby (also a Shih Tsu), passed away. You wouldn't think that a new dog could heal the heart after such a loss, but it really has helped. Ben is such a delight! He is loving and playful and quite a little power-eater! And he is so smart! Potty training has been a breeze, and he's learning new tricks..right now he's mastering the art of "sit" with ease! We can tell that Ben was treated with love before we bought him and I can assure you he is getting tons and tons of love now, too! You and your website have our glowing recommendation.
Yours very truly,
Kenna (and Taylor) Weisheit
